On Maundy Thursday (4/2) at 6pm in the fellowship hall, we will have a special communion meal. In the early church communion was often part of a meal, just as Jesus’ first instituted communion during a meal with his disciples on the night before his death. We will sing a few songs, enjoy a simple meal, and then share in the Lord’s Supper.
On Good Friday (4/3) at 6pm in the chapel, we will have a Good Friday service. This will be a somber time for us to reflect on the suffering and death of Jesus. We will listen to several scripture readings which tell of Jesus’ betrayal, arrest, and crucifixion.
On Easter Sunday (4/5), we will have worship at our regular time of 10am with baptism and communion.
That afternoon, the Manchester Slavic Evangelical Church will meet at 12:30pm in the sanctuary to celebrate Easter.
And then at 3pm, there will be a Filipino Eastar Service in the chapel.
