Greg Scalise grew up in New England and has a heart for seeing the gospel spread here. Greg lives in Manchester with his wife Marci and their son Victor. Before moving to New Hampshire in 2024, Greg served as pastor of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield, MA. For his education Greg studied philosophy and the classics at Harvard (‘18), poetry at Johns Hopkins University (MFA ‘20) and divinity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (MDiv ‘24).
Before becoming a pastor Greg taught English from the middle school level up to college courses. Greg has also worked as a landscaper, camp counselor, oysterman, janitor, land conservationist, proctor, tutor, community band manager, and mason tender. For fun Greg likes to read, hike, go to the beach, and diligently manage his two fantasy football teams. Some of Greg's favorite Christian writers are John Donne, Dallas Willard, and Aaron Renn.
